Job Description:
• Position could potentially be located in either George Town or Bayan Lepas areas.
• Where appropriate, either lead or participate in collaborative multi-region/ plant/division, cross-functional commodity teams to develop actionable low cost sourcing opportunities, as well as manage the supply base within the low cost region.
• Understand and monitor current regional commodity market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/ capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges.
• With Corporate Commodity Managers and Divisional Commodity Managers, facilitate the selection, development, and management of low cost region Strategic Suppliers to meet commodity cost and performance goals. Emphasis will be to identify cost targets for relevant technology and product roadmaps.
• Assist Commodity Managers in developing and implementing commodity management strategies including supplier assessments and rationalization, negotiation for best total cost of ownership, make vs. buy analyses, vendor managed inventories, inventory reduction programs, cycle time improvements, security of supply, continuous improvement, EDI, and procurement/ engineering collaboration.
• Develop, implement and manage low cost regional proposal activities.
• Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders, and category team members.
• Implement Corporate & Divisional initiatives to meet desired business goals/objectives.
• Establish, implement and report on specific, actionable, measurable and achievable, time specific goals and objectives.
• Knowledgeable of military, space and commercial product sourcing
• Travel approximately 40-65%.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, or Technical Field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of commodity management experience in both electrical and mechanical commodities required.
• Must have a background in Supply Chain, Operations and/or Engineering.
• Global experience required.
• Must be able to proficiently speak, read & write English in addition to local language.
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Master's degree, CPM or CPIM preferred.
• Strong understanding of Sourcing and Sourcing related activities.
• Demonstrated multi-category expertise.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and implement lean manufacturing, pull systems, and inventory reduction methods.

John C Maxwell suatu ketika dahulu pernah ditugaskan menjadi seorang

penceramah di
sebuah seminar bersama isterinya.
Dia dan isterinya, Margaret, diminta menjadi penceramah pada beberapa sesi
secara terpisah. Ketika Maxwell sedang menjadi penceramah, isterinya
selalu duduk di barisan paling hadapan dan mendengar seminar suaminya..
Sebaliknya, ketika Margaret sedang menjadi penceramah di salah satu sesi,
suaminya selalu menemaninya dari bangku paling depan.

Ceritanya, suatu ketika sang isteri, Margaret, sedang menjadi peceramah
di salah satu sesi seminar tentang kebahagiaan. Seperti biasa, Maxwell
duduk di bangku paling depan dan mendengarkannya. Dan di akhir sesi, semua
pengunjung bertepuk tangan. seminar selalunya didefinisikan sebuah majlis

Dalam sesi soal jawab itu, setelah beberapa pertanyaan, seorang ibu
mengacungkan tangannya untuk bertanya. Ketika diberikan kesempatan,
pertanyaan ibu itu seperti ini, "Miss Margaret, apakah suami Anda
membuat Anda bahagia?"

Seluruh ruangan langsung terdiam. Satu pertanyaan yang bagus. Dan semua
peserta tidak sabar menunggu jawaban Margaret. Margaret kelihatan berpikir
beberapa saat dan kemudian menjawab, "Tidak."

Seluruh ruangan langsung terkejut. "Tidak," katanya sekali lagi, "John
Maxwell tidak boleh membuatku bahagia." Seisi ruangan langsung menoleh ke
arah Maxwell. (betapa malunya Maxwell saat itu.) Dan Maxwell juga
menoleh-noleh mencari pintu keluar. Rasanya ingin cepat-cepat keluar.

My name is Nick Vujicic and I was born without limbs and doctors have no medical explanation for this birth 'defect'. As you can imagine, I was faced with many challenges and obstacles.
Their firstborn son had been born without limbs! There were no warnings or time to prepare themselves for it. The doctors were shocked and had no answers at all! There is still no medical reason why this had happened and Nick now has a Brother and Sister who were born just like any other baby.




I know that there is no such thing as luck, chance or coincidence that these 'bad' things happen in our life.
I had complete peace knowing that God won't let anything happen to us in our life unless God has a good purpose for it all
I am now twenty-three years old and have completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting. I am also a motivational speaker and love to go out and share my story and testimony wherever opportunities become available. I have developed talks to relate to and encourage students through topics that challenge today's teenagers. I am also a speaker in the corporate sector.

I have a passion for reaching out to youth and keep myself available for whatever God wants me to do, and wherever He leads, I follow.

Dilihat dari usianya beliau sudah tidak muda lagi, usia yg sudah senja
bahkan sudah mendekati malam,David 58 tahun sehari suntuknya diisi dengan merawat isterinya yang sakit isterinya juga sudah tua. mereka
berkahwin sudah lebih 32 tahun.

Mereka dikurniakan 4 orang anak disinilah awal cubaan menerpa,setelah
isterinya melahirkan anak ke empat tiba-tiba kakinya lumpuh dan tidak boleh
digerakkan itu terjadi selama 2 tahun, masuk tahun ke tiga seluruh
tubuhnya menjadi lemah bahkan terasa tidak bertulang lidahnyapun sudah tidak boleh digerakkan lagi.

Setiap hari David memandikan, membersihkan kotoran, menyuapkan, dan mengangkat isterinya ke tempat tidur. Sebelum berangkat kerja dia letakkan istrinya didepan TV supaya istrinya tidak merasa kesepian.

Walau isterinya tidak dapat berbicara tetapi dia selalu melihat isterinya
tersenyum, untunglah tempat kerja David tidak begitu jauh dari
rumahnya sehingga siang hari dia pulang untuk menyuapi isterinya makan
siang. Petangnya dia pulang memandikan istrinya, mengganti pakaian dan
selepas senja berlabuh dia menemani isterinya menonton televisyen sambil menceritakan
apa-apa sahaja yang dia alami seharian.

Walaupun isterinya hanya boleh memandang tapi tidak dapat menanggapi, David sudah cukup senang bahkan dia selalu menggoda isterinya tatkala sebelum tidur.

Rutin ini telah pun dilakukan David lebih kurang 25 tahun, dengan sabar
dia merawat isterinya bahkan sambil membesarkan keempat-empat buah hati mereka, sekarang anak-anak mereka sudah dewasa tinggal si bongsu yg masih menuntut di sekolah menengah.

Pada suatu hari ke empat-empat anak David berkumpul di rumah orang tua mereka sambil menjenguk ibunya. Kerana setelah anak mereka berkahwin mereka telahpun tinggal dengan keluarga masing-masing dan David memutuskan ibu mereka dia yang merawat, yang dia inginkan hanya satu semua anaknya berjaya.

Dengan kalimat yang cukup hati-hati anak yg sulung berkata " Ayah kami ingin sekali merawat ibu semenjak kami kecil melihat ayah merawat ibu tidak ada sedikitpun keluhan keluar dari bibir ayah....... ..bahkan ayah tidak izinkan kami menjaga ibu" .

Dengan air mata berlinang anaknya itu melanjutkan kata-katanya "sudah yang keempat kalinya kami mengizinkan ayah berkahwin lagi, kami rasa ibupun akan mengizinkannya,

Sampai bila lagi ayah dapat menikmati masa tua ayah dengan berkorban seperti ini kami sudah tidak sanggup melihat ayah terusan begini dan kami berjanji kami akan merawat ibu sebaik-baik secara bergilir-gilir".

David menjawab hal yg sama sekali tidak diduga anak-anak mereka."
Anak-anakku ......... Jikalau perkahwinan & hidup didunia ini hanya untuk nafsu, mungkin ayah akan berkahwin..... .tapi ketahuilah nak dengan adanya ibu kalian disampingku itu sudah lebih dari cukup, dia telah melahirkan kalian.. sejenak kerongkongannya tersekat,... kalian yang selalu kurindukan hadir didunia ini dengan penuh cinta yg tidak satupun dapat menghargai dengan apapun. Cuba kalian tanya ibumu apakah dia menginginkan keadaanya seperti Ini.

Kalian menginginkan ayah bahagia, apakah batin ayah boleh bahagia
meninggalkan ibumu dengan keadaanya sekarang, kalian menginginkan ayah yg masih diberi Tuhan kesihatan dirawat oleh orang lain,
bagaimana dengan ibumu yg masih sakit."
Sejenak meledaklah tangis anak-anak David merekapun melihat butiran-butiran kecil jatuh dipelupuk mata ibU.David.. dengan pilu ditatapnya mata isterinya yang sangat dicintainya itu.. Sampailah akhirnya David diundang oleh salah satu stesen TV swasta untuk menjadi tetamu dan merekapun mengajukan pertanyaan kepada David kenapa mampu bertahan selama 25 tahun merawat Isterinya yg sudah tidak boleh berbuat apa-apa.. Disaat itulah meledak tangis beliau dengan tamu yg hadir di studio
kebanyakan kaum perempuanpun tidak sanggup menahan sebak disitulah David bercerita.
"Jika manusia didunia ini mengagungkan sebuah cinta dalam perkawinannya, tetapi tidak mau memberi ( memberi waktu, tenaga, pikiran, perhatian ) adalah sesuatu yang sia-sia.
Saya memilih isteri saya menjadi pendamping hidup saya, dan sewaktu dia sihat diapun dengan sabar merawat saya, mencintai saya dengan hati dan batinnya bukan dengan mata, dan dia memberi saya 4 orang anak yg lucu-lucu.. Sekarang dia sakit kerana berkorban untuk cinta kita bersama..dan itu merupakan ujian bagi saya, apakah saya dapat memegang komitmen untuk mencintainya seadanya. sihatpun belum tentu saya mencari penggantinya apalagi dia sakit,,,"
