Our client an integrated licensed Port Ancillary services provider with more than 40 years experience in providing customised and holistic solutions to handle all type of cargo/consignment onboard vessels is looking for Senior Finance & Accounts Executives.

Responsibilities:
- Overall financial accounting, cost and management accounting, credit control, taxation and treasury, including tightening the internal control procedures.
- Strong financial & budget planning and all aspect of operational accounts.
- Formulate and implement financial policies, analyse business information and advise management on overall business operations.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
- Ensure internal and legal compliance.
- Provide financial advice to management.

Requirements:
- At least Advance Diploma/Bachelors Degree, or professional Degree in finance/Accountancy /Banking/ Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required skills: accounting software, MS Office, analytical, communication
- Preferably Senior Executive specialisation in Finance-General/ Cost Accounting or equivalent.

Kenyataan Akhbar: 24 April 2008

Tahanan 6 Tahun ISA Dibawa Ke PRC tanpa Makluman Keluarga

1. Gerakan Mansuhkan ISA (GMI) ingin menarik perhatian semua berhubung tindakan kerajaan yang membawa tahanan-tahanan ISA yang sudah berada di Kem Tahanan Kamunting (KEMTA) ke Kuala Lumpur dengan sewenang-wenangnya. Tahanan disyaki dikurung di Police Remand Center (PRC) di Balai Polis sekitar Kuala Lumpur tanpa sebab-sebab yang jelas.

2. Mengikut sumber maklumat yang GMI perolehi daripada peguam tahanan, seramai 8 orang tahanan telah dibawa ke PRC untuk tempoh seminggu bermula daripada 19 April hingga 27 April tanpasebarang sebab. Malah menurut sumber berkenaan, tahanan-tahanan berkenaan kemungkinan dibawa ke Pusat Latihan Polis (Pulapol) Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur. Apa yang menghairankan ialah, keluarga dan isteri tahanan tidak tahu menahu tentang perkara ini. Antara tahanan yang dibawa ke PRC ialah:

a. Mat Sah bin Mohd Satray (6 tahun)

b. Abdul Murad bin Sudin (6 tahun)

c. Mohd Khider bin Kader (6 tahun)

d. Abdullah Daud (6 tahun)

e. Suhaimi bin Mokhtar (6 tahun)

f. Sulaiman bin Suramin (6 tahun)

g. Yazid Bin Sufaat (6 tahun)

h. Zaini bin Zakaria (6 tahun)

Tahanan-tahanan tersebut adalah tahanan yang telah ditahan di bawah Akta zalim ISA selama hampir atau lebih daripada 6 tahun. Sudah hampir seminggu mereka dibawa ke PRC namun isteri-isteri mereka masih tidak diberitahu tentang ketiadaan mereka dalam KEMTA.

3. GMI mengutuk tindakan pihak berkuasa memindah tahanan-tahanan dari KEMTA ke PRC di Kuala Lumpur sewenang-wenangnya kerana besar kemungkinan interogasi dijalankan semula ke atas tahanan-tahanan. GMI berpendapat tindakan pemindahan tahanan ke PRC dan interogasi itu tidak sepatutnya berlaku memandangkan polis telah diberi 60 hari penuh di bawah Seksyen 73 ISA untuk menjalankan sebarang siasatan apabila tahanan ditahan di bawah ISA. Selepas 60 hari, tahanan seharusnya tidak boleh dipindahkan lagi untuk sebarang penyiasatan mahupun interogasi.

4. Lebih penting lagi, GMI bimbang tahanan sekali lagi didera secara mental and fizikal semasa di dalam PRC, di mana keluarga tahanan tidak diberitahu bila dan tempat penahanan manakala tahanan pula tidak mempunyai sebarang akses kepada keluarga dan peguam. Dalam keadaan ini, hak keluarga tahanan untuk melawat tahanan sekali setiap minggu juga telah dirampas kerana mereka tidak tahu di mana untuk melawat suami mereka.

5. Oleh yang demikian, GMI ingin membuat tuntutan berikut:

a. Penjelasan daripada pihak polis dan kerajaan kenapa tahanan tersebut dipindah keluar daripada KEMTA ke PRC di Kuala Lumpur.

b. SUHAKAM perlu membuat lawatan segera dan melawat tahanan-tahanan itu untuk memastikan mereka berada dalam keadaan baik, sihat dan tidak didera secara mental dan fizikal.

c. Kerajaan perlu menyiasat segera tujuan sebenar tahanan-tahanan ini dipindah daripada KEMTA ke PRC Kuala Lumpur dan mengumumkan laporan hasil siasatan.

d. Pihak Kem Kamunting perlu memastikan supaya keluarga tahanan diberitahu setiap kali tahanan dipindah keluar daripada KEMTA dan ke mana tahanan dipindah.

Job Responsibilities

	Reporting to the Operations Manager, the appointee shall be responsible for the entire design solution in the field of ship structure, ship outfit, ship system and work fabrication.
	This includes responsibilities like planning of initial/final vessel's Electrical Engineering Work design, its specification and installation.
	Carrying out associated calculations to above like stress analysis, weight and hydrostatic, stability calculations and etc.
	This may include but not limited to the design of material and equipment requirement and issue PR for new buildings and material require.
	To compile and keep up to date the complete set of ship drawing, catalogue library and other technical documentation.
	He/She will be required to assist the superior in identifying, estimating the cost of the parts, giving right specification, recommending vendors/suppliers and be cost conscious at all time.
	To oversee the issue of drawing and technical information to the production department and liaise with the production department on any matter raising there from.

Job Requirements

	Candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on working experience, preferably in the Shipbuilding Industry, and / or ship design functions.
	A team player who possesses at least a degree in Naval Architecture or any Engineering field.
	Computer literate, good in planning & conceptual design and proficient in CAD/CAM.
	He/She must be able to proactively and confidently lead, plan, organize the design work on all Shipbuilding and able to implement programmes and advise in minimizing cost and wastage to achieve higher efficiency.
	He/She must be able to liaise with classification societies for final approval and other related matters in ensuring smooth running of the related project.

	This includes responsibilities like planning of initial/final vessel's Electrical Engineering Work design, its specification and installation.
	This may include but not limited to the design of Electrical Power, Communication and Navigation Equipment.
	He/She will be required in identifying, estimating the cost of the parts, giving right specification, recommending vendors/suppliers and be cost conscious at all time.
	He/She will be required to assist the Technical Yard Manager in day to day operation and smooth running of the division, includes but not limited to the headcount manpower and human resource planning, problem solving, workload allocation, monitoring the production progress etc

Job Requirements

	Candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on working experience, preferably in the Shipbuilding Industry, and / or ship design functions.
	A team player who possesses at least a Diploma in either Marine Electrical Engineering or Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
	Computer literate, good in planning & conceptual design and proficient in CAD/CAM and Isometric Piping software is a must.
	He/She must be able to proactively and confidently lead, plan, organize the design work on all Shipbuilding and able to implement programmes and advise in minimizing cost and wastage to achieve higher efficiency.
	He/She must be able to liaise with and supervise sub-contractors engaged in such works.

Estimator

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development of price proposals for ship new construction and change orders for both Government and commercial opportunities. Duties include: pricing, identifying labor, material and time requirements, utilizing drawings/blueprints , specifications and other related and all related to new business and/or change orders. Job Requirements Experiences with cost and fixed price contracts required. Must be aggressive, able to coordinate multiple tasks, ability to work in a quick paced, team environment and have the ability to meet deadlines. Position requires an individual that is able to work with and understand multiple design and construction disciplines. Must have exceptional communication skills, both written & oral and be familiar with use of MS Office products. Experience preparing estimates for change orders and/or new construction. A thorough understanding of shipbuilding methodologies and the work done by various shipbuilding crafts. Able to read and understand blueprints and other technical documents. Experience with the application of shipbuilding parametrics desired. Experience with the application of estimating and pricing systems. Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook. Ability to develop and execute pricing strategies, competitive analysis, risk management, and cost analysis desired.

Bila orang bujang menghadapi malam pertama

"Ha'ah. Tapi bukan ke kau kata dah insaf dah, nak taubat selepas
berkahwin?"

"Memang la. Tapi aku tersilap buat something semalam."

"Ye ke? Apa yang kau dah buat?"

"Kau tau, masa malam pengantin semalam, setelah selesai melakukan
hubungan, dalam keadaan mamai, tanpa sengaja aku memberikan wang RM100
pada isteri aku."

"Wah, gila kau??!" Mohd. Jamil terperanjat.

"Bukan aku sengaja! Dah benda nak terjadi, nak buat macamana.." jawab Amat
dengan muka mencuka.

"Habis, bagaimana? Isteri kau marah ke?"
