Naval Architect
Job Responsibilities
| - Reporting to the Operations Manager, the appointee shall be responsible for the entire design solution in the field of ship structure, ship outfit, ship system and work fabrication.
|
| - This includes responsibilities like planning of initial/final vessel's Electrical Engineering Work design, its specification and installation.
|
| - Carrying out associated calculations to above like stress analysis, weight and hydrostatic, stability calculations and etc.
|
| - This may include but not limited to the design of material and equipment requirement and issue PR for new buildings and material require.
|
| - To compile and keep up to date the complete set of ship drawing, catalogue library and other technical documentation.
|
| - He/She will be required to assist the superior in identifying, estimating the cost of the parts, giving right specification, recommending vendors/suppliers and be cost conscious at all time.
|
| - To oversee the issue of drawing and technical information to the production department and liaise with the production department on any matter raising there from.
|
Job Requirements
| - Candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on working experience, preferably in the Shipbuilding Industry, and / or ship design functions.
|
| - A team player who possesses at least a degree in Naval Architecture or any Engineering field.
|
| - Computer literate, good in planning & conceptual design and proficient in CAD/CAM.
|
| - He/She must be able to proactively and confidently lead, plan, organize the design work on all Shipbuilding and able to implement programmes and advise in minimizing cost and wastage to achieve higher efficiency.
|
| - He/She must be able to liaise with classification societies for final approval and other related matters in ensuring smooth running of the related project.
|
Electrical Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
| - Reporting to the Operations Manager, the appointee shall be responsible for the entire design and compilation work of the Electrical Engineering.
|
| - This includes responsibilities like planning of initial/final vessel's Electrical Engineering Work design, its specification and installation.
|
| - This may include but not limited to the design of Electrical Power, Communication and Navigation Equipment.
|
| - He/She will be required in identifying, estimating the cost of the parts, giving right specification, recommending vendors/suppliers and be cost conscious at all time.
|
| - He/She will be required to assist the Technical Yard Manager in day to day operation and smooth running of the division, includes but not limited to the headcount manpower and human resource planning, problem solving, workload allocation, monitoring the production progress etc
|
Job Requirements
| - Candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on working experience, preferably in the Shipbuilding Industry, and / or ship design functions.
|
| - A team player who possesses at least a Diploma in either Marine Electrical Engineering or Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
|
| - Computer literate, good in planning & conceptual design and proficient in CAD/CAM and Isometric Piping software is a must.
|
| - He/She must be able to proactively and confidently lead, plan, organize the design work on all Shipbuilding and able to implement programmes and advise in minimizing cost and wastage to achieve higher efficiency.

| - He/She must be able to liaise with and supervise sub-contractors engaged in such works.

Estimator
Job Responsibilities: |
| - Responsible for the development of price proposals for ship new construction and change orders for both Government and commercial opportunities.
- Duties include: pricing, identifying labor, material and time requirements, utilizing drawings/blueprints , specifications and other related and all related to new business and/or change orders.
Job Requirements - Experiences with cost and fixed price contracts required.
- Must be aggressive, able to coordinate multiple tasks, ability to work in a quick paced, team environment and have the ability to meet deadlines.
- Position requires an individual that is able to work with and understand multiple design and construction disciplines.
- Must have exceptional communication skills, both written & oral and be familiar with use of MS Office products.
- Experience preparing estimates for change orders and/or new construction.
- A thorough understanding of shipbuilding methodologies and the work done by various shipbuilding crafts.
- Able to read and understand blueprints and other technical documents.
- Experience with the application of shipbuilding parametrics desired.
- Experience with the application of estimating and pricing systems.
- Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Ability to develop and execute pricing strategies, competitive analysis, risk management, and cost analysis desired.
